Lock-Up with Version 1.6.3!Hi,H

Post by tthoet »

Hi,

I'm locked up with version 1.6.3 of Housebot! I configured it to auto-start in minimized mode (just appearing in the system tray). But clicking on the system tray icon does not show an option to open maximized. So I cannot open the program normally any more, this option is not available! Any suggestions?

Best Regards

What happens if you doubleclick on the tray icon?

Hi Scott,

double-clicking the icon brings up the Main Window, but not with the capability to do the normal editing. It just shows a very simplified screen with some options like version, running time and recent errors. Still I cannot find a way to get back to the general editing screen.

Best Regrads,

Thomas

p.s.: By the way, I am a total fan of your software!!!

Thomas,

It sounds like the Tree View that is normally in the left portion of the screen is completely hidden. You should be able to click and drag the left border of the window over to reveal it.

If you upgrade to version 2.0, I have fixed this so the tree view will never completely be hidden.

If this advice doesn't fix it, send me a screen shot of exactly what you are seeing.

thanks alot, your advice does the job! By the way, will the update to version 2.o preserve the previous programmings I did?

Thanks and Regards,

You can install 2.0 right over you 1.6 installation. It will use your existing configuration, so you don't have to start over.
