Viewsonic support

I just bought a new Viewsonic V212-003 (Home Controller Edition) on Ebay for about $300.
It didn't come with any home controller software so I asked the seller what made this unit for home control.
He said, it can run the HouseBot software.
I was glad, but I want to confirm that there is no specific hardware support in the Viewsonic to allow it to support Z-Wave, and that to HouseBot, its simply a Windows-CE platform?

Please confirm...

Nice find. I don't have any experience with the product but is should be find for running the swremote assuming the Intel processor on it implements the ARM or MIPS architecture. Keep us updated on how it works - did your come with the optional dock? That looks like a nice combo.

To add to what Terry said, if it is running Windows CE, you will still need another computer running standard Windows to host the HouseBot server.
