I don't know if you have seen this, but it may fit in great with the software remotes and winamp control....perhaps even some of the protocols you can use....

Winamp Web Control Plug In for Winamp 2.X. Perhaps this window could be brought up inside a Housebot software remote window? Just a new toy :)
