Intergrating security cameres into housebot

i have four camers placed around my house and would like to intergrate them into my housebot system can anyone help to get me started

Hi Graham,

What type of cameras are they?

If they are IP cameras there are some scripts around that will capture still images for display on the SWremote.
Such as this:
viewtopic.php?f=1&t=855805&hilit=netcam


If you want full video i am not sure how todo it.

I used webcamXP free to take a shot every 10 seconds or so and then used housebot to put that images on a SWremote.

Many7 thanks for your reply i ried the second lot of code in your link but kept getting a save fle error, hey are IP cameras and i am hoping that someone can help in setting these up as the software that came with my card is a bit useless as you cant resize the screen so i end up loosing most of it

try the code near the end of the post and you will need to change the IP addresses for your cameras.

Post back if you are still stuck and I'll post the code i am using when i get home
