Device Replication

Just thought I'd share this with everyone. It's yet another use of the "Device Replicator" software device. I just started using the Device Replicator device, and it just rocks!! My main HouseBot server runs on a "slower" machine. So I'm using device and state replication onto my...

Just gotta say it again!

Scott, awesome software !! That's all I gotta say. The more I use it, the more I just love it. It's absolutely engeneous, and pretty much limitless to what it can do. The user interface and learning curve are minor compared to what it can do. Just wanted to drop you some more words of encouragement ...

Hi Scott, Unfortunately I've never heard of Nullsoft's streaming stuff. I understand your point of view, and that you're really busy. If I can help out in any way, I will. I would much rather see the pan and tilt support first before any audio/video streaming stuff. I hope you can find the time to l...

Hi Scott, I'm willing to help out in any way I can. I don't think the Windows Message Device will work. Besides, there is a bug inherent in the MultiView software and I have spoken to and confirmed this with Tech Support. It offsets the X10 command recieved but not always by the same offset. Sometim...

Awesome. Thanks Scott.

Can it be installed just on top of the current version and maintain all the configs ?

Thanks again,

Hi Scott,

That's great. Hope it won't be too much trouble. It's not a show-stopper anyway. The software still rocks !!

Thanks again,

Hi Scott, Yes I am logged in as a user belonging to the Administrator group. Funny thing is though, that I can go into regedit, and change them manually. And then go back into the Program Options, and the values I entered into regedit are there. So at least I have this last-resort option. But I can'...

Changes in "Program Options" don't stay

For some reason the program won't accept any changes I make under the Settings ---> Program Options. I change the value (say "Minimize to Tray" or "Snap to Grid" or "Device Replicating Port") and click OK, but when I go back into the Options, all changes are back to the...

Hi Scott, Thanks for the comments. I see what you mean. I did exactly that and I see the logic behind it. I will test it when I get home (I have a test PC that I play around on here at work when I have a minute here-and-there :D but no interfaces though so I can't test fully here). I basically creat...

Best software I've found

I'd just like to say thank you, and great job on HouseBot. I love the way it's layed out and the thinking process behind it. It is very powerful and extremely flexible, and I love the theme idea for the remote control component. All I would like to see added to HouseBot are the three things that I p...

Support for remote Pan-n-Tilt (hence CM19A tranciever)

Hello, I have several cameras all around my house, all with the Pan-n-Tilt kit and the CR14A Pan-n-Tilt RF remote. Now I am by no means a programmer. I am an Electrical Enginner by credentials, and a network administrator by profession. So I may be totally out to left field here but is there any way...

Hi Scott, Thanks for the reply. It makes sense. What I was trying to is use motion sensors that send out RF ON commands when set off (and then send an OFF command after a configured time delay). Please correct me if I'm wrong: For example, say motion sensor M4 gets triggered and sends out "M4 O...

MR26A not showing up in dropdown

Hello, GREAT JOB on the HouseBot by the way. It is excellent. I have installed the MR26A plugin. I have the following Hardware Interfaces created: - CM11A Interface - CM17A FireCracker - MR26A Reciever Now, when I go to create a device (either X10 Transmitter, X10 Module, or X10 Controller) the prob...
