Re: Panel open style using scripts
Hi, sorry to re-open this old thread, but I'm trying to use task based pop-ups with open effects. Still can't see a way to do this, but want to make sure something hasn't come along since this thread was active.

List Control Management
Scott, I've searched for the sample list control scripts that you've posted previously, but all of the earlier links appear dead. Will you please post these again?

Fixed part two
Update on my second question, the commands for "next track" and "last track" are, not suprisingly, "FastForward" and "Rewind" via the WinampCom object interface. I've tested these and they work correctly.

Winamp and Directory Questions
Hi, I am stuck on the most basic concept - using a touchscreen button to navigate up and down items shown in a directory control. How is this done? Also, and I hope a little less obvious, I'm trying to support manual advance and backup a track in Winamp, but I don't use playlists so the +=1 on "...

Prop Value Sub
I'm trying to sample the system time (without seconds) into a user defined time variable in a timer device. I'm doing this inside a task, where I select the timerdevice.usertimevariable, select PV Sub, and then select the system time variable. There's a system "beep" and a parser error. Of...

Final Post on this Topic
I've tried the SW remote on two ARM ce.net devices now - one running 4.2 and the other running 5.0. Neither works. The fakeddlls don't help. I'm fairly sure the problem will require more than simple lib replacement as I conducted the following test: Run SWRemote on device ->error related to missing ...

Update 2
Well, after additional searching and testing, here is what happens: If I download the swremote only, windows ce complains that there may be components missing. If I download mfcce300.dll, the error stays the same. If I then download doclist.dll, ce complains that swremote is not a valid windows CE a...

Update
Well, after additional research, I found a program to tell me what DLLs are missing from the HPC build on these displays (executabilitycheck). Frankly I wasn't aware of the differences between HPC and PPC builds (my PPC device runs the swremote fine) but alas... The missing DLLs are mfcce300 coredll...

Win CE 5 Device SW Remote Problem
Hi, I'm trying to get the SW Remote to run on an IVC Displays CE 5.0 Client. The error I'm getting refers to missing application or application components. From past posts, it looks like I need additional DLLs to download or an ability to recompile the client. I tried the fakeddlls package reference...

"Not a valid bookmark" Error
Hi, To the best of my recollection I did the following: 1) backup HB 2) shutdown 3) restart 4) start HB Now I'm getting the multiple errors, shown in the subject, on HB start and HB X10 control is not functioning. I'm guessing I confused some aspect of my backup process and corrupted my HB config. A...

Nice Script
Thanks Osler. Really works well. I had run into and corrected the WindChill problem.
I wish Yahoo would add a few more days to their RSS forecast feed, but it's still cool.

Thanks Terry. I installed the new SDM3 and the PowerLinc seems to be working better - both send and recv X10 commands. I wasn't able to get HB to start the new SDM without exiting, but if I start SDM before HB, all is well. This last issue may be something with my installation - I'm definitely not s...

Plugin Location?
I'm looking for the plugins download directory (listable) or a listing of available plugins. Will someone point me in the right direction?
Thx, Bryan

Update
Just to close this thread out... The SH SW still doesn't recognize the PLC, but after guidance from Scottbot, I was able to get Housebot to recognize the PLC and to recognize X10 commands. I still can't send X10 commands via the PLC, but I can use the CM11A for that part for now. I'll work with SH a...

Well, after hard resetting the PowerLinc, it now behaves the like my other one (solid LED, HID device in Win Dev manager, housebot will not enable). More significantly, and more likely indicating something I'm doing, none of the SH software recognizes either USB device. For example, SH Synapse repor...
