I experience this when I start other programs on the same machine.
It feels like a reaction to a busy CPU.
Does it make sense?

I'm Using RDP. SWRemote version is 3.30a.

Is your HB server running on the same PC, under your account?

Did you receive any software with the UPS?
Can you use it to control HB?

If what you are trying to do is to set a device after some time, you can use a sleep timer and a related task.

This is the carrier frequency.
If you're not sure, use 38 KHz.

Setting your system to use the USB-UIRT is not straight-forward.
HB has a good online help that walks you through the process.

HB already allow to select when the operation is being made (when the button is pressed or when released).

It would give more functionality if one could set different property-changes for button pressed/released/hold/double-tapped.

When renaming the database (and making the changes in the registry), the 'compress' throws an error that it cannot find hbdata.mdb.

It will run only on 'all remotes', because there is no calling remote. The task was called by another task and not by a remote.

In the Lighting panel 'Enter' list, add a name of a task that would fire the timer. Create an automatic task (When conditions are met) that checks the running state of the timer and closes the panel.
