Sensibo HVAC with Housebot?

Sensibo is a device that allows remote control of HVAC units (e.g mini splits) that are normally controlled via an IR remote. Their app (IOS, Android) allows you to set all (or virtually all) functions that you would normally do via the HVACs IR remote. In addition, geofencing, Amazon Alexa, etc, timer setting is possible. They also allow integration with home automation systems via their API.
I’m considering using one to control the HVC at a lake cottage, and after reading up on it a bit thought that integrating it into HB could be useful. That said, I have not looked into the care and feeding of their API… yet.
Has anyone been down this road with Sensibo?
