Insteon is a new wireless/PLC home automation standard that is backwards compatible with X10 that promises high reliability at a reasonable cost. See http://www.insteon.com for more details.

We received our kit from SmartHome today so we will begin development fairly soon. I will recruit some of you for beta testing. No need to send PM's or e-mails, just chime in here if you have Insteon and can help test it.

Pablo,

Have you had an opportunity to review the INSTEON SDK? I’m curious to hear a developer’s perspective on the SDK. Has it changed your thoughts on the timeframe for developing a HouseBot plugin?

I've had a brief look at it and it is still too early to make any calls on it. We are getting a release of Meedio TV out today and I expect to be able to focus on Insteon later this week.
