Global Cache - iTach support?

Post by jaga01 »

Hi,
I just got a new Global Cache Itach IP2IR. Now I did not do my homework and checked wether it worked with Housebot as the Global Cache GC100 series. As far as I have tested it is not working with the GC interface. Does anyone has a solution so that I can have my housebot use this new GC itach.
Looking so much forward to hear experiences.

Hi Again,
Ok, Will it be possible to modify the GC hardware interface, so that it also could be used for the itach ir family?
Is there something I can do by myself?

Jacob,

I'm not familiar with the itach IR line, but if you have tested it and can't find a way to make it work, then it's probably not supported. Unfortunately there is no development planned to support this for the foreseeable future.

Hi Scot,
Somehow it went back and tried again. Now it is working without problems. You just have to specify it as iTach, then it works. Is there any logic in that ?

Glad to hear it's working. What do you mean by 'specify it as iTach'? Where do you specify that?
