need a little help please -housebot newbie

I am slowly finding my way around HB to the point where I have defined my cm11a com port 4 and w800 com port 1.

I have a couple of motion sensor tasks (very simple tasks right now) which are working just fine.

I can click on a device power state and change it just fine on/off.

I can't get a palmpad set to the same code as my device to work( example B6 on turns on the rangehood light).

If I plug in a tm751 set to code B then the palmpad works fine.

Any idea what I am missing ?
