Database compress error

When renaming the database (and making the changes in the registry), the 'compress' throws an error that it cannot find hbdata.mdb.

Not sure what you mean by this. Are you saying you did the "Backup Configuration" option and saw this?

No. When HB starts, a popup window shows the following message:
"Error encountered when compacting database. Error = Could not find file 'C:\Program Files\HouseBot\Config\HBData.mdb".

It looks like the compact utility is not using the database name as specified in the registry.
