Copying buttons in a theme

Bug or not?

I was copying a button from one panel to the next somewhere in the upper right hand corner. The pasted button never showed, but was still selected after the copy. So I looked at the position and the x-coordinate was set to 1459. The mouse cursor was somewhere around x= 950, so the button got pasted at X + 500 and was therefore not visible on my screen anymore.

We once discussed the feature that all items should remain within background x and y limits and this one adds to it.

It seems like a bug that the pasted button does not drop underneath the mousecursor.

Can you confirm this?!

Duplicates work fine by the way.
