Tasks have two different ‘execution modes’; “Manual” and “When Conditions Are Met”.
“Manual” Tasks will only execute if:
1) Called explicitly from a Software Remote
2) Called from another Task
3) Executed from the HouseBot User Interface
“When Conditions Are Met” Tasks will automatically execute whenever a Property changes that satisfies one or more of the condition statements in the Task.
When a Task is first created, by default it has a ‘Manual’ execution mode. This is to prevent the Task from inadvertently executing. Check to make sure the execution mode is correct for the Task.
