Is it possible to detect DIN LD11 swith pressing?

Post by inotle »

My home lighting is wired using X10 LD11 DIN modules.

I can send them X10 command from Housebot but I'm looking for the comunication in the other way: I want to detect when a home user press a wallswitch that turns an LD11 on... is it possible?

I think not, because sitch pulses are "wired" signals to the DIN module, and doesnt generate an X10 command.... is this true? hope not.

If this si true... anybody knows some way for detecting this status changes in DIN modules from Housebot?

What I'm planning to do is i.e. when a user opens the main entrance light, housebot launch a task that opens the kitchen light, turn music on, etc..

Thanks
