Sensing SECU16 supervised input... not

I have one SECU16 supervised input tied to the media eqpt. cabinet door via a mag switch so that when the cabinet door opens the rack illumination is turned on (via an X10 wall switch mod). It worked fine when coded within the Leopard/Ocelot. But I'm gradually migrating all the task stuff off the LE...

Guys, I'm glad to hear all this dialogue about a CDJ emulator. I've been looking for some way of integrating the NIRVIS CDJ into a HB remote client, but never did see a way to make one fully functional but without CDJ's quirks. I look forward to see what you all are doing.

Thanks; I didnt know about the 'Execute Program' device. That should do it though. (The CDJ executable is on the SWRemote pen tablet, with the back-end on the HBServer.)

Launching a client-side executable from a open panel action

So I'm thinking "why can't opening a CDJ panel on the SWremote just launch CDJ instead of me having to click a button control to launch a client executable." Well, there may be a way to do it (I tried creating a CDJ task then running the task on panel entry (via Enter List).) But I may be ...

Could you guys explain the term "voice modem" and what it might do for HB? I figured that whatever modem is used would need TAPI in order to interprete the Caller ID string. I had also thought about some type of interface that would allow the touchtone keypad to be used as a cheap/dirty re...

Scott, the logo was the first thing I tried (intuitive after all). but it went (and goes) to http://www.cebotics.com/phpbb2/\ ...at least with my browser (Netscape 4.7). When I mouse over the logo as well as the link you added under it, the above URL is what I see displayed at the bottom of the brow...

CeBotics link

This is kind of silly, but it seems logical to me. How about a link on the Forum page back to CeBotics Home or to the Housebot page? I came to the forum today from the email notification so there is no Back button to use to get the the Mother Ship. Just an(other) idea... :?

Scott, on the transparent panels vs. the controls, that's why suspected was happening: the transparency was being applied (although I don't understand why) to the controls as well as the panel itself. Plan B was to use a small non-transparent panel and just drag it out of the way when I needed to ge...

Bug or Beast - transparent panels

I'm not sure if this is a bug or a feature request... or just cockpit trouble here. I tried to create a transparent panel, so that only the controls would appear. The intent was to overlay this panel on top of the CDJ window, so that you could navigate and view CDJ as well adjust volume, etc. When I...

Scott, I had not thought about multiple remotes; and I use several. So I'll have to think on this more (like I should have before). I lost sight of the fact that the remote is essentially a viewer, with all transactions controlled by the server. But your idea about limiting task control to th...

Sleep timers and Button Tasks

(I posted this on the AVSForum, and am just replicating it here.) Would like to know a way (or have a feature added) that can use the sleep timer device to run a task at the end of the time interval that replicates button clicks. This would allow a timer to automatically close a panel and return to ...

BMP file selection

Scott, when selecting an image (or button) control to add, there currently is no way to select images other than what is presented in the window. Can you add an option similar to the button when creating a panel that would allow the user the ability to select another BMP file? BTW, are we moving the...
