Re: Calling Sonos users
Thanks Osler, I applied some initiative last night and created a c: drive path copy, but still no luck. Your post this morning reveals the NoAlbumArt.jpg and off we go. I'm only getting c.40 files before it errors, but will play around with direct cabling. Looks like we're moving forwards. Thanks on...

Re: Calling Sonos users
Hi Osler, Thanks for the suggestion. Have added local address, and get through a number of announcements. Re: "adding x number of tracks, please be patient" "I click on this and then get error meessage 3004: "unknown error". This may not figure in the top ten of informed que...

Re: Calling Sonos users
Osler, Certainy count me in for the new version; I'm very impressed so far. Can confirm the same radio results as Victor when using R:0/0 One of the most attractive parts of the new scripts is the pre-loaded album art, and it's use within music selection. The SonosAlbumArt script errors after displa...

Re: Calling Sonos users
Hi Osler, everyone A new years resolution is to move my HB Sonos project on. Trying out the new theme and associated scripts from October. Having some issues importing the new plain theme - the same as others - but no luck with the modded .xml file. Any chance of a new sonos only .HBX export? Thanks...

Re: Calling Sonos users
Just a quick one: the test machine OS is Vista. I cannot get the WSC files (ZonePlayerFinder.wsc) to register. I'm getting this message, and I've been trying to fix for the last two days. "The loaded Module "C:\Windows\system32\scrobj.dll" was loaded but the call to DllRegisterServer ...

Re: Calling Sonos users
Osler,
Thanks for posting this up. Again, it looks fanstastic.
I shall be building a test PC to get to grips with this, and to add some custom backgrounds of my own. I'll let you know how I get on!
Thanks again, Tony

Re: Calling Sonos users
When selecting an album or navigating to an album from the artist tree, a seperate panel is popped up (task driven instead of script driven so that you aren't popping screens on all of your remotes) that contains all of the songs for that album as well as the album art for the album. On this screen...

Re: Calling Sonos users
Hello Osler, Housebot and your Sonos solution worked very well on Holiday - 2 weeks and no droputs. Everything worked better when I decided to shutdown and restart with each journey as opposed to using Hibernate. Reading your last message suggests something new/different is in the pipe - as I'm now ...

Re: Calling Sonos users
Hi Osler, Thanks for your quick response. Accessing Radio using presets would be perfect for car use. I have a button called "favourites" for my top overall functions, and I'll try to see if I can directly access some radio stations from there. I go on holiday on Friday, so it looks like I...

Re: Calling Sonos users
Osler, It's good to get away from technology once in a while... Thanks for your information: the description of forward makes sense with the explanation given! Girder (sorry) has come to the rescue for the music selection. If and when I can use my HID devices direct within Housebot this can change. ...

Re: Calling Sonos users
Victor, Working! - I had previously tried copying the select (forward) command before I changed my zone descriptions to match my own environment. Do both = and it works. Obvious now, but "select" seems to be a good choice for this command - maybe it has to be called "forward" for...

Re: Calling Sonos users
Sorry Osler, didn't think the next question would come so quickly! Cannot make music selection According to an earlier post by yourself, I have followed the AddSong-"zone name" all the way through. I have set the zone name, and have correctly renamed all panels. In my case the zone=Caravel...

Re: Calling Sonos users
Hi Osler, Thanks again for this solution. So many questions - as it opens up many possibilities... Todays question! Continous Scrolling through music selection On the right of my selection screen (based on I-Sonos theme)I'm using the new "up" and "down" page controls, with ZPBrow...

Re: Housebot new user - Observations and some questions
Thanks Osler, Useful information on my Girder question. I'll have a look at Lua for HBControlMod.dll. The i-HID has an SDK. The API functions are written in C#, C++, Delphi, VB6, and VB.NET It can be downloaded here: http://www.ultimarc.com/pacdrive.html As for the car project: It's a big project! -...
