Re: Version 3.30.03 and new Android Software Remote
I have solved the first issue where I have to load the remote twice by creating a theme and copying panels to this theme. There must have been some issue with the theme.xml file. After considerable trial an error, I think I have found a reproducible workaround to the "Not enough memory for imag...

Re: Version 3.30.03 and new Android Software Remote
I'm running Android version 4.4.2. I'm trying different things in an attempt to to isolate the problem. I really think it is related to collective transparency area. It looks like there is an upper limit. Hopefully this is dynamically allocated, but it is looking more-and-more like it is not since I...

Re: Version 3.30.03 and new Android Software Remote
I'm seeing two issues with the Android Remote. The first issue, which is only a slight issue, is that I must load the remote twice before it loads. The first time I load it it I get an error Unfortunately, Housebot has stopped. When I load it a second time it works. The second bigger issue that I'm ...

Re: z-order on panels
Just an Update.... I have successfully figured out a way to create lists/menus using a combination of transparent buttons, labels, dynamic images and a script. This works best for me because it allows me the flexibility and creativity to get the look and functionality I'm looking for in the menu. I ...

Re: z-order on panels
Maybe something like this..
http://innofied.com/accordion-view-ios/
One could probably simulate a navigation menu using your list control and a script. Has anyone else done anything with navigation?

Re: z-order on panels
I kind of figured that. It's no surprise that tablets and touch devices are not suited well to a windowing interface. This is why IOS, metro and Android don't really use them. I found a work around by creating zones on my themes so that I don't have overlapping panels. It just limits the creative op...

z-order on panels
I'm trying to use panels to create popup menus. This seems to work except for the fact that if you touch another panel it automatically brings that panel to the front over the top of my menu. It would be useful to have a z-order property on a panel so no matter what you did that panel would stay on ...

Re: Custom fonts in android
I have read a couple of posts on this issue. I installed the .ttf fonts I was using in my theme on the android and it recognizes them under system fonts, but it appears that HB remote does not recognize them. Is this a name mapping, or reference, issue where the font names don't map from Windows to ...

Fantastic work Scott! This has encouraged me to get back into Housebot after a rather long hiatus.

Re: Button Behavior
I probably should have been more specific. I have a property change button control and I would expect to press the button repeatedly to quickly toggle a panel on and off. I have to wait it about 1.5 seconds before I can press the button again before it will toggle the panel. It does this whether or ...

Button Behavior
Buttons seem to completely ignore additional presses for a certain amount of time after initially selected. Is there any way around this? I would like my application to be more responsive to subsequent presses.

Re: Girder 5
This problem still exists. Every time I upgrade HB I have to backrev the girderbridgedevice.dll so the "run as" box doesn't come up every time a girder call is made. The new girderbridgedevice.dll does not work with girder 3. Regarding your post The new plugin support for Girder 5 should b...

Re: Girder 5
Unless I'm missing something here... I'm using girder 3.x. Every time the new griderbridgedevice.dll was called I was getting a "Run As" pop dialogue. I tried everything to fix this, and eventually realized the "Run As" problem was a trojan horse in the true metaphoric sense. In ...
