Steve Horn wrote: Tue Mar 17, 2020 10:11 amIs there a command line switch that would force a HBserver restart?
Sorry, but no.

It also might be tricky to gracefully kill it since it prompts before closing.

Re: Error/crash when deleting a task

Looks like that error is displayed when it's trying to delete records from the TaskConditions table. Without seeing the database, my assumption would be that the DB is somewhat corrupt. If you want to send me the HBData.db file, I can look into it. If you have a SQLite DB tool, you might be able to ...

Re: JScript as a new(ish) feature exploration

Well... assuming that I had anything in mind is giving me too much credit. The reality is that the Microsoft script extensions OLE support that I was using for the VBScripting also included support for this older version of jScript. So it was an easy feature for me to add in the plugin, since the un...

Re: Win7 - to - Win10 migration

Did you transfer the HKLM settings too?

For many of the registry settings, it will try and find them in HKCU. If not found, it will look for them in HKLM.

There might be a few spots where it looks one place only.

Re: Alexa and Insteon

Steve,

Yes, I've been seeing that more lately too. I haven't had a chance to look into it, and it's going to be tricky to troubleshoot since it's intermittent.

Re: How to delete a Power on/off task in Device setup

Steve, I understand your point, but what is the device type and property name you are looking at? I don't recall a security system device to check for you. But I'm thinking you are working with an "Execute Task" device. And you are right, you can't ever unset a task once it's set. You coul...

Try launching HouseBot as admin to see if it resolves the HBControlMod error.

Re: Win7 - to - Win10 migration

If you're upgrading Windows 7 to 10 (same box), there shouldn't be a problem. If you are moving to a new one then you have a couple of different options. Either way, be sure to backup your existing configuration first (File / Backup Configuration). The safest way is to install the same version you w...

Re: Zigbee support

There's no zigbee support included with HouseBot. It's something on the list, but since I don't have any zigbee equipment it has never been implemented.

What zigbee stick do you have?

Re: Android Issues

James, Good finds, these were both issues. The issue with the scaling was that popup scaling info was not getting reset when you changed the scaling type. So any old scaling information for the popup(s) was retained. I've just released an update to the android remote that will reset scaling informat...
