can you run housebot server as a background service? I have housebot set up as I want so just need to run the server without the GUI can this be done. many thanks in anticipation. Graham

thanks for your reply so what is a skx file which is what housbot ask for when you try to import a skin and i downloaded the Energy meter from the dowmloads section of the housebot web site and all i got was 3 png files, 2 xml files 1 vb file and 1 bitmap but no hbx.

i may be thick but these answer give me a few probs... 1) the HomeEasy HE105 only controls the on-off of the heating not the room temp 2) i cant find anthing thing about the FS20 or the Trane thermostat used by Zwave what i realy want is a room thermostat the replace the one on the wall so i can con...

Many7 thanks for your reply i ried the second lot of code in your link but kept getting a save fle error, hey are IP cameras and i am hoping that someone can help in setting these up as the software that came with my card is a bit useless as you cant resize the screen so i end up loosing most of it ...

i have four camers placed around my house and would like to intergrate them into my housebot system can anyone help to get me started

U have solved this by learning all the relevent codes twice and then using a multi state button to switch between them many thanks to all who helped me solve thi problem biggrey54
