The post I found RE the DLL suggested installing the 2013.
I checked my production system and it was on 2010.
I just installed the 2013 packages and the wrapper is working! YAY!
I hope this helps!

Re: Wrapper for C# plugin development!
Update.... My Test laptop which is working has the MSCR120.dll and my production laptop (Main HA system) does not. Some looking on the web indicates that I need to install the Visual C++ Runtime. Is this the right solution? I don't want to break anything on my Production machine by doing this. Any g...

Re: Wrapper for C# plugin development!
Hi Steve, I am working on getting the C# wrapper working. I have it working on one laptop (my test laptop) but it is not working on my 'production' laptop. Interestingly, I get the same error as you are gettting on my 'production laptop' right now: I ran the DLL walker program that Scott linked abov...

Re: Weather.com Plug-in
Hi Allan, So I FINALLY got around to working on the C# plugin stuff and am testing the weather app. I know I have the wrapper working and the 1.0.4 DLL. I am getting a 403 error with the new API key (just signed up yesterday). 'The Remote server returned an error (403) Forbidden. Anyone having luck ...

Re: HouseBot and Amazon Echo
Hi all, I hope everyone is well! I pulled the string and should have my echo arriving soon. I wanted to report out that the java program that functions as a HUE bridge emulator (previously described by Steve) has an updated version (2.1) that is quite decent for registering and saving devices. Steve...

Re: Get GPS & Navigation Info from Mapfactor Navigator 14 TCP - how difficult?
Hi Guys, Would Osler's TCP Client plugin work? I have actually used it before and it works well. Osler had the source code posted here too. I actually did a recompile on it to tweak it for a robot application I was working on. It might serve as a starting point for development. Best of luck on devel...

Re: Software remote hardware
Hey Steve, Why would you not go with an inexpensive Android tablet and use Scott's Android remote? It works great from what I have worked with so far! I am running the SW remote for Android on my phone (Galaxy 5S) and it is working very well. I don't know if all the features of the remote are suppor...

Re: XBMC plugin?
Very excited about a plugin for KODI I have been using XBMC (now Kodi) for a very long time. My older HTPC would switch between a HB remote (FULL Screen) and XBMC (FULL Screen) using Eventghost to glue them together. HB would call a macro and I wrote simple python scripts for XBMC. I have used the E...

Re: Control HouseBot from EventGhost
Hi Jacco, I don't think this pulgin does that. I use Evenghost and Housebot alot. The easiest way to communicate HB to EG is to create a Execute Program Device in Housebot and use the -e switch. Example: Create an event in Eventghost to reboot the computer called Reboot Create a Housebot Execute Pro...
Re: My Setup
Hi Al, Thanks very much for the quick reply and thanks for uploading the dll ! Because of the HB update I have decided to migrate my older system from XP to Windows7 so I am in the middle of that. I look forward to getting the envi 128 working and looking more into Media Portal. On a side note for a...
Re: My Setup
AL, Amazing setup you have! Very well done! You must be as excited as I am with the Android Remote. I can't wait to retire my USB touchscreens (or get more new touchscreens which is what I will probably do!). I have a few questions for you if you don't mind. I had no idea you built a plugin for the ...

Housebot Alive! New Video of EDGAR
Hey Guys, I know Housebot is alive out there! I finally finished up 22+ years as a C4ISR Engineer in the Coast Guard. I have some down time, so I thought I would make another video of my system EDGAR (Electronic Data Gathering and Automation Resource)....showcasing my newest Lillyput 10 inch touchsc...

Re: Insteon Fanlic
Hi folks, Good news! I got the fanlincs integrated with Housebot! I am using Houselinc (free from Smarthome) now for setting up and configuring my Insteon network (works well). Since I was not able to set a Group to a dim level in Housebot, I instead created individual scenes on the Fanlincs, one fo...

Insteon Fanlic
Hi All, I am working with the Insteon Fanlic. This is a single Insteon device (one address) that controls both a light and the fan motor. So far I am liking it and it works well with a keypadlinc. For the fanlinc the light is on group 1 and the fan control is on group 2. I have used the 'Insteon Sin...
