Re: RFXcom Transmitter KAKU With automatic codes

You add the KAKU device with automatic code as a HomeEasy device. Assign a X10 like device code. Put the KAKU in learn mode and transmit an ON command. The KAKU is now paired to the Housebot device. Most KAKU modules can be paired with up to 6 remotes. A Housebot device is seen as a remote. Addition...

Re: Can I change status without changing state?

The delay is caused by the handshake connection between the receiver and transmitter. If you disable the handshake you will get a problem because the handshake connection will command the transmitter to wait until no other RF signal (your remote) is present. If two RF transmitters are active at the ...

Re: Caller ID modem

I use the Zoom 3049 http://www.zoomtel.com/products/dial_up ... erial.html
This modem has only the DTMF Caller ID and no FSK!
This modem can be used if the Speedtouch is able to send the Caller ID in DTMF.

Andy,

You could have contacted RFXCOM support ;-)

You need CPR (COM Port Redirector)
See chapter 4.6 http://www.rfxcom.com/documents/RFXCOM_ ... erface.pdf
and http://www.lantronix.com/device-network ... ector.html

Re: RFXCOM & OWL CM119

Scott can make a beta version available that supports the OWL CM119 received by the RFXCOM 433.92MHz receiver (with 89000 option)

Please let me know if you would like to test the OWL CM119 in HouseBot.

Re: RFXCOM & W800RF

The packets transmitted during initialization of the RFXSensor cannot be received by the W800 because they have a length > 32 bits. But they can be ignored. The temperature, humidity, barometric pressure and A/D values transmitted by the RFXSensor can be received by the W800. For example this packet...

Re: RFXCOM & RCS Avidsen 103102

The error with P15 not supported in HouseBot can be solved by Scott. It is preferred to select "Use handshake' in the transmitter configuration. The function of this handshake is: 1. The transmitter is only allowed to transmit if the receiver does not receive data. This avoids RF collisions as ...

Re: RFXCOM & OWL CM119

The CM113, Electrisave and cent-a-meter are not real power meters but a current meter that reports current values which makes it very difficult to calculate a power usage. It will never be accurate because the voltage is not measured. The same is through for the CM119. The sensor of the CM119 report...
