I had the same situation with my Airpanel and my PDA. What I ended up doing was connecting the cradle to an appliance module (insteon). Whenever I am away (motion not detected for 1 hour or alarm armed) Housebot will turn off the appliance module cutting the power from the cradles. This will turn of...

I think the cm11 supported by housebot is the serial version not the usb version. You can use the serial one or the Powerlinc USB version from Smarthome

I installed Housebot version 3.0 and the insteon plugin looks more stable than with the previous version, however I am getting at least three to four failures per day. In Housebot the error says "Insteon Command Timed-out" but when I look into the SDM logs I don't find anything, at least n...

Problem solved. Apparently by default the panels appeared out of the coordinates of the monitor. I only have one. I suspectd this and was lucky enough to use the move option and hit the up arrow key until it showed up in the monitor.

Problem with Software Remote in V3.0

I just upgraded to 3.0 and am having problems with the Software Remote. I am using the version 3.0 and it looks that it communicates well with the server but the panel is not showing up. I just see the Software Remote minimized. No matter if I try to restore it it doesn't show the panels. I did a cl...

I have version 2.22 and no, the hardware interface is not constantly accumulating messages. Actually, it doesn't go up to 100% CPU exactly when it receives data but shortly ater that. Last night I changed the flow control settings of the com port and at least it has been running for almost 24 hours ...

Generial Serial Device and Housebot going to 100% CPU

First of all, Merry Christmas to all of you. I just set-up the Generic Serial Interface to connect Housebot to my DSC security panel. I am using it just to read information (door sensors) and not to pass any commands since the security logic is in Housebot. In theory it was working fine but then Hou...

Scott, I re-installed HouseBot and that solved the problem. Now I am having problems with making it work but it is definitively the learning curve so I won't bother you guys unless I hit a brick wall. I will try to look for answers in old posts within the forum.

Thanks a lot.

E-mail Script

Very simple script to check unread e-mails and trigger a task based on the subject. It then deletes the e-mail that triggered the action to avoid repeating the action. Needs Outlook to be open and configured to check e-mails every X minutes.
