Z-Wave and Housebot

Hi I'm from Switzerland and I'm currently using an installation with a lot of X-10 devices, but unfortunately the communication is not always as reliable as expected and the devices are not available anymore so I'm currently checking to switch to Z-Wave. Does anybody use a z-wave installation with H...

Isntallation HB_Control.exe

Hi All
What is needed to install HB_Control.exe on a second PC? If I copy just the executable and try to execute it I get an error which tells me that the program is not executable.
Do I need to make a complete Housebot Installation just to use HB_Control.exe?

Best regards

How to set userdefined timevalue from vbscript?

Hi there

I defined a userdefined time value-property in a device. I want to write a certain time to it using vbscript, but I don't know the correct format and everything I tried lead to an error.
Does anybody have information about the correct format?

Thanks -Alex-

This behaviour is well known to me. But I have a certain time during the night where my computer is turned off. After the reboot and the start of housebot, it would be good if I could send a status request, to get the correct state of the device in housebot. If the state was changed during the power...

Initialisation of device property on startup

How can I change the state of the sleep timer device to running on startup of housebot? I tried to use the initial value of the property running, but this is switched back to "no" after the timeout. Or is there another possibility to start a task once, when housebot is started? Thanks -Ali...

Direct X10 command "Status Request"

How can I use the direct x10 command "Status Request" within housebot?

Does it update the properties of the device with their current state of the device?

Which devices are supporting this feature?

Thanks

Reponse of CM12CH/CM11A too slow

I'm using a CM12CH, the Swiss version of the CM11A. I have also the problem here that it takes about 4 seconds to get a command executed. Pressing the switch -> CM12CH -> executing task in housebot -> CM12CH ->turning lamp on This is just too slow! I cleared the memory of the CM12CH, but it doesn't ...

Device to read data from a file?

Hi everybody!

Is there a device available to read data from a file and make the values available in Housebot?

E.g. I have a weather application which writes it's data to a csv file. I want to use these values in Housebot to control the heating via X10.

Thanks -Alibaba-
